The doors, face frames and drawer fronts are all made from 3/4" solid wood.  We use a tongue and groove system for attaching the face frames to the 3/4" cabinet grade plywood. Our drawer are made from 5/8” solid Soft Maple wood and feature 1/2" dovetails on each corner. The bottoms are a full 3/8” thick Baltic Birch plywood. The cabinets are then stained with your choice of  stain . We then apply a light coat of pre catalyzed lacquer  to seal in the stain. Next we hand sand  the lacquer with super fine paper. The second coat is sprayed using a toner that is mixed in with the lacquer to give the cabinet a consistent color and give the finish some depth. The second coat is hand sanded just like the first coat.

The final coat is a clear coat finish, the same product that was used for the first two coats. Christenson Carpentry uses M.L. Campbell  products for the finishing procedure. Our cabinets are protected with Magnamax clear lacquer which meets or exceeds rigorous testing from the Kitchen Cabinets Manufactures Association ( KCMA). We use Blum full extension drawer slides. These slides are under mount slides that are out of site leaving only the drawer to see. The slides have a soft close feature that will automatically pulls the drawer in after giving it a light push. These slides are standard on all cabinets.
